The Monster Hunter World collaboration with The Witcher 3 went live yesterday, and we now know more about what you'll be up to as Geralt. The "extremely challenging" multiplayer contract, Woodland Spirit, will pit them against a much powerful and deadlier Leshen. The Witcher's abilities and arsenal, including his silver sword and combat magic will be available during the hunt.

Completing the quest will reward players with Witcher-themed items, resources for crafting Geralt's iconic armour and weapon set, a Palico skin and weapon, plus new gestures, titles, and guild card background. The PC release of this event may come at a later date, according to the official "Witcher" site. We couldn't have done it, of course, without the close collaboration of CD Projekt Red.

It's unknown exactly what else the Witcher has brought to the game along with him.
