Attackers Kill 8, Themselves at Brazil School

At least eight people were killed in a school shooting in Brazil's Sao Paulo state, local media report, citing police.

Television pictures showed anxious family members congregating outside the Raul Brasil school in the greater Sao Paulo area, alongside firefighters and security services.

The suspects are believed to be two teenagers, who shot themselves after the rampage.

Aged between 20 and 25 years old, the alleged attackers are not believed by police to be former students of the school that has some 1,000 primary and secondary students.

Doria says the dead included two teachers and six students, and several more people had been hospitalized after sustaining injuries.
