CVS, the largest pharmacy chain in the United States, announced on Wednesday that they will soon begin selling a number of cannabis-derived CBD products 800 stores across 8 states.

CBD products will soon be for sale at CVS stores in IN and Kentucky.

CVS said the products will include topicals such as creams, sprays, roll-ons, lotions and salves. Your CBD Store opened in Lawrenceburg late past year following the legalization of CBD products in the state.

Elevate CBD products are available in over 1,500 CVS stores in eight states, including California, Illinois, Maryland, Colorado, Alabama, Indiana, Tennesee and Kentucky.

CVS will not sell supplements or food containing CBD.

"We have partnered with CBD product manufacturers that are complying with applicable laws and that meet CVS's high standards for quality", a CVS spokesman said in a statement.

The company has yet to confirm when these products will be available.

A new projection for the CBD market size came in just a few days ago, and this one is even more optimistic than any before.

So far, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved CBD's use in food or beverages.
