Dalot grateful to Mourinho for bringing him to Man Utd

Now without a club, the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss is planning to be back in work for the 2019/20 season.

Giggs, 45, and his former Class of 92 teammates Neville, Scholes, Butt, David Beckham and Phil Neville, played a combined total of 3,450 games during the most successful period in United's history.

Pogba, who came through Manchester United's academy, left the club for free in 2012 after Ferguson fell out with the Frenchman's agent Mino Raiola.

"Only Nicky [Butt] is connected with the club now, but when you play over 2000 games [3,450 in total] between us, we are going to have an opinion".

While Solskjaer now looks certain to become the permanent successor to Mourinho, Ibrahimovic has no doubt Jose will soon be back in business.

"Things happening outside do not really bother him because when you are at that level, everyone will speak - positive, negative, in between".

Giggs was speaking at United's Carrington training complex, where the Wales the squad are training ahead of Wednesday night's friendly with Trinidad and Tobago at Wrexham.

"But he (Ibrahimovic) obviously knows more about the club than us", Giggs sarcastically added.

"When they say he is too outspoken in the media, if he is outspoken in the media about you, he has been outspoken to you directly". That's what football is about, having different opinions. He was also asked about Manchester City's prospects of winning a quadruple of trophies this season.

The 56-year-old won two trophies during his time with the Red Devils in the form of the EFL Cup and Europa League.

"I've got enough to worry about, please don't bring that up", Giggs chuckled.

The Portuguese even spoke about the rumours by saying: "Would I go back to a club I've been at before?"

"They're a fantastic team, aren't they?" United going out of the FA Cup makes it a little bit easier for them. But they are a brilliant team.
