Duke’s Marques Bolden back to practice, aiming for return for NCAA tournament

The reality is, given the bracket and the percentage of No. 1 seeds that historically get to the Final Four and the utter certainty of upsets here and there, that there's nearly no way for the ACC to measure up to expectations without someone winning a national title and getting (at least) two teams into the Final Four.

Unlike the Democratic primary, each participant in the NCAA tournament has its own mascot. The Blue Devils are the clear favorite to cut down the nets.

Oregon State, a No. 4 seed, will play 13th-seeded Boise State in the first round. Along with their 26-point win over the Marquette Golden Eagles earlier this season, they defeated the Louisville Cardinals, Butler Bulldogs, Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan State Spartans twice.

After defeating the Virginia Cavaliers in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament, the Florida State Seminoles rose two spots in the poll to No. 10.

"'Ques coming back now, which is good", DeLaurier said after Tuesday's practice.

I was on the fringe about the Horned Frogs, but this was a tough blow after seeing a few surprising teams get the nod over them. With UConn entering this year's tourney as a No. 2 seed, that's just more of a sign that we could see some more of that this time around.
