Huawei Caught Using Stock Images to Promote Upcoming Smartphone's Camera - Again

While it is expected the P30 Pro will be powered by Huawei's latest and greatest Kirin 980 chipset, it was previously unknown how the device could stack up against its predecessor in terms of pure performance.

These exact finishes will also be available to those interested in the pricier Huawei P30 Pro.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro was launched in November, 2018 along with the Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 X. It is with no doubt that Huawei's Mate series smartphones kept enjoying the spotlight throughout 2018 till date. Though the VP did not confirm the zoom specifications that Huawei P30 Pro may offer, it is rumoured that the smartphone will offer lossless zoom support of up to 10x zoom. The camera should help Huawei deliver better zoom functionality, a feature the company teased previously.

Now again, the company caught red handed when it showed pictures as the results of Huawei P30 camera, but these were actually taken from DSLR.

You'd think Huawei would have learnt from its past mistakes when it comes to its smartphone marketing campaigns. The outlet reckons that the colorway will be called "Sunrise", but it doesn't look like Huawei is going for a super-aggressive gradient here.

The Huawei P30 and the P30 was certified by Taiwan's regulatory body NCC while three variants of the P30 was certified by Indonesia's TKDN which are likely to be the P30, P30 Pro and the P30 Lite.

This time, Huawei forgot to add the disclaimer prior to the debacle being revealed, retroactively adding it into promotional material after the fact. This global event will launch Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.

"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the media for their interest in our posters". The company used a DSLR to shoot a misleading ad that suggested the selfies were taken with a new Nova phone.

Yu has shared several teaser posters on Weibo and all of them hint at the Huawei P30 series' zoom capabilities.
