Lady Gaga Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors & Teases New Music

The past year has seen no shortage of Lady Gaga; over the past two months, "Shallow" has earned her an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and her first number one single in eight years.

The newly-minted Oscar victor shut down pregnancy rumors and confirmed she's got a new album in the works in one fell swoop Tuesday on Twitter.

The #LG6 referred to what would be her sixth studio album release, shooting down a tabloid report that claimed she was pregnant.

Leave it to Lady Gaga to shoot down a pregnancy rumor with a record announcement. "It didn't go unnoticed that she avoided booze at the Oscars".

Gaga is surging professionally amid her intimate duet of Shallow at last month's Academy Awards with her co-star and director in A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper.

Clapping back at the rumours like a boss, Lady Gaga took to her Twitter handle and hinted at an upcoming album.

Speaking on United States talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said that she began her rehearsals while working as a hostess to supplement her pocket money as a teenager.

Gaga's last album, Joanne, was released in 2016, which was followed by A Star Is Born.

Yes, people saw love and guess what? Gaga was apparently overheard telling friends at an Oscar party that she's expecting, but all of this has since been debunked. "When you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel". This is a love song. "['Shallow'] is a love song, A Star is Born is a love story".

"I'm an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job... fooled ya!" she added.
