Teaser Trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

Teaser Trailer for Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

Brad Pitt is taking on a screen legend in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. DiCaprio plays TV star Rick Dalton, who has forged a close professional and personal alliance with his stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt).

After setting social media into a frenzy earlier this week with the release of its posters, Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" has released its first trailer for the film.

"Hollywood" is set in 1969 and centers around a television actor (DiCaprio) and his trusted friend and stunt double (Pitt) as they try to transition away from television and into the world of Hollywood moviemaking.

Margot Robbie plays Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. After the trailer, that's still about it - and we see a pretty great impression of Bruce Lee.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is scheduled to hit cinemas on August 14th. The three marquee names are enough to make "Hollywood" one of the biggest movie events of the year for cinephiles.

The trailer doesn't highlight the film's full, ridiculously impressive cast, but it also consists of Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, James Mardsen, Tim Roth, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Bruce Dern, and Luke Perry. In other words, it's definitely a Tarantino movie.

We still have months to wait before the film's July 26 release date, but social media critics have already been quite vocal (surprise, surprise) about the initial promo images for the film.

There's plenty of humour underneath the dark subject matter, as you would expect from a Tarantino film. "And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff".
