Pixel, OnePlus taking USA users from Samsung, not Apple

What kind of changes do you believe Google should implement when the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are launched later this year?

Spotted by 9To5Google, a developer posting refers to two unknown device codenames in some internal files, that are seemingly referring to the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top edge and a USB-C port at the bottom, which is flanked by speaker grilles on either side. Now, the codenames of the Pixel 4 phone and its bigger sibling have surfaced online, which also hints at a mysterious third device. Similar to the present generation Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL the Google Pixel 3A is being leaked relentlessly days before it's launch. In the latest Google app code, there's also reference to "Coral" and "Flame". After doing a little digging, it was found that Coral and Flame are codenames for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, respectively. According to the study, the Pixel 3 is a solid enough handset that it's convincing plenty of Samsung owners to switch over to a device that offers a pure Android experience. A Google Coral benchmark revealed not too long ago that Google might be working on a smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB of RAM. The Pixel 3a XL, on the other hand, could be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset. While 37% of OnePlus 6T buyers came from a Samsung phone, many of them used either a Samsung J2 Prime or the aforementioned Galaxy S7.

As of now, not much information is available about the actual hardware on these mid-range pixel smartphones.

Currently, we do have a fair idea of what could be the specifications of the mid-range Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL devices. Both the smartphones will run Android 9 Pie out of the box.

As you'd expect, the rear houses a single camera and an LED flash while the fingerprint scanner sits at its usual position.

Sargo, or the Pixel 3a, is expected to come with a 5.6-inch screen at 1080 x 2220 resolution, while Bonito, or the Pixel 3a XL, is unsurprisingly larger with a 6.0-inch display at 1080 x 2160 resolution.
