Redmi Y3 to come with 32-megapixels selfie camera

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 had launched in India in June a year ago.

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi claimed that it sold over 1 million units of its newly launched Redmi Note 7 series in India. The company has teased the launch of an upcoming Redmi smartphone on its Twitter handle.

The video also shows that there will be triple cameras at the rear of this smartphone similar to that on the Mi 9. In the teaser you can see Xiaomi India managing director Manu Kumar Jain taking 32 selfies because the smartphone will sport a 32MP selfie camera. "Can you, Mi fans?" The new video teaser of the upcoming Y series hints that the smartphone will have a bigger battery that will last for more than a day in a single charge. The Mi Play series will debut in China, and the first smartphone - the Xiaomi Mi Play - is set to launch on December 24. It is expected that Xiaomi might launch the smartphone later this month in India and will be priced below Rs 15,000.

After launching the mid-range Redmi Note 7 series in February, Xiaomi followed up with the ultra-budget Redmi Go in March and now, it is gearing up for the third mobile series, a camera-centric to be specific. Successor to the past year launched Redmi 6, the smartphone comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 720x1520 pixel resolution.
