Samsung Galaxy A80 powered by Snapdragon 675 lands on Geekbench

Samsung Galaxy M30 will be on sale in India today at 12pm on Amazon India and Samsung online shop. Under the theme Era of Live, the company will be unveiling its latest Galaxy A devices on 10 April 2019 at 8 PM (GMT+8).

While Samsung only recently launched the Galaxy S10 range, it isn't done announcing exciting handsets, as a phone with a pop-up camera that serves both the front and back of the device is also widely rumored. It will feature a large, ultra-vibrant Super AMOLED display with extremely thin bezels and no notch.

The Galaxy J series is popular among the budget smartphone segment in India, Latin America and some parts of Europe. The phone will be available in Black, Blue, and Red colour options. Presently, Samsung offers three smartphones under the Galaxy A series - Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50. However, it could be priced at Rs 13,999.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A20 smartphone offers a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 720x1560 pixel resolution.

As per a report by Dutch site Mobielkopen, Samsung has accidentally confirmed the name Samsung Galaxy A80 for the phone with the sliding-rotating camera that was earlier rumoured to be the Samsung Galaxy A90. It is powered by Exynos 7884 Octa-core processor and packs 3GB of RAM.

Regardless, at least one of them probably has the aforementioned pop-up camera, with lenses rumored to include a 48MP f/2.0 main one, an 8MP f/2.4 secondary one and a ToF (time-of-flight) one for depth sensing. The device runs on Android 9 Pie based company's One UI.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 clicks pictures with a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP+5MP configuration. Samsung Galaxy A20 is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging through the USB Type-C port.
