Realme X features 6.23-inch no notch super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 (FHD+) pixels resolutions, with 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. This is definitely going to disappoint price-conscious smartphone users in India who are fond of expanding internal memory of the device to store gigabytes of media files and apps on their handsets. On the front, the handset offers a motorized pop-up camera with 16MP (Sony IMX 471) sensor paired with f/2.0 aperture. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie that uses AI, making it adapt to how you use the smartphone. You can also capture software-driven portrait shots that also look really good.

In addition, the Realme X Lite is equipped with the HyperBoost 2.0 fast speed engine to further boost the performance of this smartphone. The phone comes with 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The company's Indian CEO Madhav Sheth has already confirmed this many times before. The phone is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 219 / Rs. 15,325 approx.) for the 4/64GB variant, 1599 yuan (US$ 232 / Rs. 16,345 approx.) for the 6/64GB variant and 1799 yuan (US$ 261 / Rs. 18,395 approx.) for the 8/128GB variant. It comes in two colour variants which are Onion and Garlic White with a unique pattern on its rear. The company also announced a couple of special edition colours inspired by onions. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 4/6/8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 128GB internal storage. All three models come with a microSD card that supports storage expansion up to 256GB.

Coming to the camera department; at the rear, the device has a 16MP main camera with LED flash, Sony IMX519, f/1.7 aperture, and EIS.

Now at the same event, the company has introduced the Realme X smartphone, the regular variant of Realme X Lite. On the front, you get a 25MP selfie camera to take care of the selfies. For slow motion and depth information, it also has a secondary 5MP camera. The phone fits comfortably in the palm due to curved back panel and rounded edges. Realme X runs on Android 9 Pie operating system based on ColorOS 6.0 UI and it is backed up by a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 support. The phone comes in Nitrogen blue and Electro-optic Violet color options.
