Video Released Shows Woman Pushing Elderly Man Off Bus, He Later Died

The incident occurred on March 21 when the victim, identified as Serge Fournier, 74, encountered Bishop as he was exiting the bus with his walker.

Police named Cadesha Bishop, 25, as the woman who pushed the man off the bus. She is charged with murder of an elderly or vulnerable person.

Fournier was left hospitalised and later died from his injuries on April 23.

The father of Bishop's son told police that Bishop was violent, and that he was no longer with her because of it.

In a Tuesday tweet, Vegas cops stated detectives are still looking to talk with witnesses.

Eyewitnesses say Bishop got in an argument with the victim and other passengers on the bus and she pushed the victim out the door.

Trevor Taylor, a neighbour to Mr Fournier, said: "No matter what his age, she should not have done that".

Police said they were notified of the man's death on May 3.

A judge ordered Bishop, 25, held on $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing of evidence May 21.

Fournier was described as an "excellent neighbor" and a "very nice, religious person".

After the alleged shoving, Bishop reportedly fled the scene.

Police said she was seen in the security video, which has yet to be released, walking away holding the boy's hand.

Court records show that Bishop was convicted twice, in 2014 and 2015, of misdemeanor domestic battery charges.
