Xiaomi launches smartphone vending machine called Mi Express Kiosk in India

This makes it highly convenient and hassle-free form of purchase for Xiaomi customers, says the company. Amongst the many great products, I was delighted to see a kiosk where employees could instantly buy Xiaomi accessories and smartphones and a number of other products.

There are two ways to purchase Xiaomi's products. "All the technology equipping Mi Express kiosks has been researched and developed in India, further extending the brand's commitment to India", Xiaomi said in a statement.

The first Mi Express Kiosk has been installed at Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru and has a wide range of products including Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Poco F1, Y3, Redmi Go, along with accessories such as Bluetooth speakers, battery packs, auto chargers, earphones and more. Along with this, there is a touch display on the right to operate the machine. They make it easy for the consumers to buy products and are created to accept all forms of payments including credit cards, debit cards, cash and UPI. There is also a slot that prints out receipts.

The metro stations, airports, shopping malls, and railways station will be ideal locations for these kinds of kiosks. The procedure will be a little faster and you don't have to wait for your device after successful payment.

Xiaomi has its exclusive Mi Home Stores in cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, while it also has Mi Stores in rural parts of India.

Photos shared on Twitter by Xiaomi ahead of the launch today showed the kiosk loaded with earphones, selfie sticks, power banks, chargers, Bluetooth speakers and phones from Xiaomi and Redmi.

The same Express Kiosks will be beneficial to the company as well as they will not require any sales manager, staff or big physical stores. As of now, Xiaomi says the kiosks will "soon be installed throughout the metro cities", and adds that consumers can access information about kiosk locations via its India site -
