Amazon Prime Day 2019 announced for 15 July, will last two days

Prime Day this year will begin at midnight on July 15, 2019. If you haven't tried Prime Music before, Amazon is offering Rs 200 as Amazon Pay balance for streaming their first song starting today.

Amazon says that this year's Prime Day will feature some big discounts and deals on Amazon devices - and the biggest Prime Day deals ever on Alexa-enabled devices - which should mean some decent discounts should be available on the Amazon Echo.

"Get ready, as we pull back the curtain to reveal exclusive products, special performances and two full days of phenomenal deals this Prime Day", said Jeff Wilke, Amazon CEO Worldwide Consumer. OnePlus will be launching a new variant of the OnePlus 7 series smartphone. You need to be a paying Amazon Prime member to make the most of it.

'Stay tuned as we reveal exclusive savings at Whole Foods Market, thousands of new product launches, as well as world-class entertainment and more, leading up to Prime Day on July 15 and 16'.

Amazon is previewing what will be on sale in each region.

Last year's Prime Day was the biggest shopping event in Amazon's history at the time, with shoppers in the United States gobbling up Amazon's own devices like the Fire TV Stick as well as the Instant Pot, the 23andMe DNA test, and the LifeStraw.

As Prime Day grows larger, its importance grows as well.

Amazon also keeps adding new services and perks like Prime Day to keep members happy in the ecosystem.

Anyone who's shopped on Amazon before will know that the online retailer has deals all year round, though, and there's already some killer savings to be snapped up, including £40 off budget hi-res Sony Walkman, savings on five-star UE Wonderboom wireless speaker and a 54% discount on Sennheiser wireless headphones.

It offers steep discounts on a variety of products, similar to a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale. Prime is increasingly important to Amazon, as members tend to purchase more items and more frequently.

The top-selling item in the U.S. was the Instant Pot, while the Bosch cordless drill took the title in the UK.
