Konami Signs Exclusive Partnership With Juventus FC

FIFA's traditional rival have stolen a march on their video game competitor, although the names and faces of Juventus players will stay realistic.

EA Sports has been dealt a major blow for Federation Internationale de Football Association 20 as rivals Konami have snapped up the rights to license Juventus in an exclusive partnership. With eFootball PES, playing is believing and we're proud to have Juventus FC believe in us and our exciting future together.

Juventus will be called Piemonte Calcio in Federation Internationale de Football Association 20 after the Italian giants ended their partnership with EA Sports.

Juventus star Miralem Pjanic will also become an ambassador for PES 2020, Konami has confirmed.

Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer, commented: "We are particularly proud of the partnership signed with Konami". Stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Paolo Dybala will be available in all game modes, including the Ultimate Team.

Original Story - PES 2020 (yeh, sorry Konami no one's buying that eFootball name) has just announced some pretty big news for the next game in the series.

EA Sports has revealed on its official website that Juventus will be rebranded as "Piemonte Calcio" following the end of their partnership.

The 2020 version of PES secured exclusive naming rights with an agreement between Konami and the Italian champions.

Not only that, but the Juve first-team players have all been full-body 3D scanned to capture every detail as they come to life in the game.

They will still be called Juventus in Federation Internationale de Football Association 19.

Following the announcement of its long-term partnership with Manchester United, Konami has announced two additional partnerships with Juventus and Bayern Munich.

This deal entitles PES to the name, kit, stadium and badge for Juventus in their game.

eFootball PES 2020 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC STEAM, on September 10th (Americas/Europe/Asia) / September 12th (Japan) with pre-orders now available for the standard and legend editions.
