Unai Emery wants to complete three Arsenal signings

A report has picked out three players that Arsenal will consider if they fail to land their number one target Wilfried Zaha, according to reports.

The Gunners are keen to add the Ivory Coast global to their squad and offered £40m for him earlier this month.

Unai Emery is desperately trying to strengthen his squad this summer following a disappointing first season in charge at the Emirates and the Arsenal boss needs to bring in a wide forward as we have a distinct lack of width right now.

The same article states that the Gunners are eager to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, Celtic defender Kieran Tierney and Saint-Etienne centre-half Wlliam Saliba.

Arsenal have already seen a £40m offer for Zaha, who is now on global duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, knocked backed.

That would save the Eagles millions so it's certainly an interesting offer but it remains to be seen whether Palace are keen on taking any of Chambers, Elneny or Jenkinson as part of the deal.

But in a bid to bridge the gap, Arsenal are said to be ready to offer £40m plus Mohamed Elneny, Calum Chambers and Carl Jenkinson to Palace to sign Zaha.

Zaha wants to join Arsenal, the club he supported as a boy.

Arsenal offering players in part-exchange has been floated, but Crystal Palace are not interested in such an arrangement and would only consider it as a last resort.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Zaha, with claims that they could hand Palace a player to offset some cost - but Palace are not willing to play ball.

"Given all that Wilfried has given to Crystal Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing on a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realise his dream of playing European football for the club he's supported since childhood".
