Became known the first details about the Samsung Galaxy S11

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S6. On August 5, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be unveiled.

Not like earlier Active smartphones, the Galaxy Active will reportedly not be based on a Galaxy S flagship. Each will come with Android 9 Pie and a variant of Samsung's OneUI but will nearly certainly be updated to Android Q once that becomes available.

On the camera front, the Galaxy Tab S6 has a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor that has a 123-degree field of view.

The S Pen attaches with magnets and charges wirelessly while in place - it should take 90 minutes for a full charge.

The display may probably be 10.5-inch, and the company may opt for its own OLED screen technology which will be first ever to be featured on a tablet.

The Tab S6 will start shipping on September 6 in two models.

The S Pen comes now in a different design, having an ovoid shape, which can also perform Air Gestures.

According to recent reports, Samsung Electronics has released its second-quarter earnings results in line with its prior guidance, which is not that great. Like the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, the S6 can charge the pen when it's attached and it even has a similar on-screen charging notification when you attach it. A version with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM will cost $729.

The date mentioned for the new tablet was yesterday and Samsung did indeed show off its new Galaxy Tab S6.

Wherever there is a phone or tablet being sold, someone is looking for more information about it. The latest Android tablet from the company is perhaps its most concerted effort to take on the market segment that Apple now dominates with its iPad Pro. The keyboard, which has to be purchased separately, can be connected to the Tab S6 with a set of pogo pins on the left edge of the device. When you dock the tablet, it automatically enters DeX mode for a more desktop-like experience. However, the display has smaller bezels compared to the Galaxy Tab S4 and features facial recognition and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

In terms of core specs, the Tab S6 will come with 6GB/8GB RAM, 128/256GB of storage and a 7,040mAh battery, which should last up to 15 hours.

The box in which the Tab S6 ships will contain not only the device itself but also an upgraded version of Samsung's S Pen stylus.
