First Snapdragon 865 scores emerge on Geekbench

And now, it seems like Qualcomm is all set to come up with the advanced Chipset i.e. Snapdragon 865.

Qualcomm has been the most popular manufacturer of flagship-grade mobile processors for quite some time now. Geekbench's listing reveals a lot of information about this latest Processor of Qualcomm. These results are higher than the Snapdragon 855.

A leaked image has recently surfaced on Geekbench, showing benchmarks for a chipset from Qualcomm called Kona. On single-core performance, the CPU scores 4149 points, while the chipsets logged 12915 points on multi-core performance. In its multi-core test, the SD855 has scored around 11k. Android 10 is, of course, Google's upcoming Android Q iteration of Android. This benchmark was ran on a device with 6GB of RAM with base frequency of 1.8 GHz.

Still, do these scores look like a big enough improvement over the performance afforded by the Snapdragon 855.

The Snapdragon 865 also supports LPDDR5X RAM and UFS storage. For reference, the Snapdragon 855 was manufactured by TSMC. But the Android smartphones with Snapdragon 865 chipset should start arriving early next year.

Prior to this, Qualcomm picked Samsung Foundry as its mass production partner for the manufacturing of the Snapdragon 865. Every December, Qualcomm usually release and host the Qualcomm Tech Summit, so we expect they will make an official announcement about the chip. Companies have been using its flagship chips for years, intensively, and even though Samsung's Exynos and Huawei's Kirin processors are really good, though chips are for the most part used by those two companies only.
