'Little Women' Official Trailer (2019) | Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Maryl Streep

Little Women, the film where the women are the size of cats - blows your mind what we can do with modern technology. They even befriend a young neighbor Laurie (Chalamet), who is instantly welcomed in the tight-knit family unit made up of the tomboyish Jo, the eldest Meg (Emma Watson), the kind-hearted Beth (Eliza Scanlen), and the spoiled Amy (Florence Pugh).

According to production notes: "Writer-director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) has crafted a Little Women that draws on both the classic novel and the writings of Louisa May Alcott, and unfolds as the author's alter ego, Jo March, reflects back and forth on her fictional life".

The new film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's 1868 novel was filmed in MA a year ago.

Meryl Streep as Aunt March in "Little Women". In addition, Timothée Chalamet takes on the role of Theodore "Laurie" Laurence. The pair notably starred in the critically-acclaimed 2017 film Lady Bird, which was also directed by Greta.

Christmas has come early with a trailer for Little Women, the latest in a roster of on-screen adaptations of the classic 1868 book of the same name.

"I'm working on a novel", Jo says. She captioned her Instagram photo using an Alcott quote: "I could never love anyone as I love my sisters".

Little Women releases on December 25. This cast is simply stellar and you know they're going to knock their performances out of the park.
