Husband of missing CT mother arrested again

The girlfriend of Jennifer Dulos' estranged husband turned herself in to police in connection with the CT mom's disappearance.

State Police said, "It is our understanding that Michelle Troconis has made arraignments to turn herself into State Police investigators".

Speaking after posting a $500,000 bond Wednesday the-father-of-five told Fox61: 'It's an exhausting fight.

Troconis admitted to state troopers in August that her first two interviews with them were untruthful and she was ready to be fully truthful, police said. Once a press release has been generated and approved, we will send it out.

According to the warrant, the employee said Dulos eventually told him that he was anxious hair evidence might be in the vehicle because he'd hugged his estranged wife days before she disappeared.

"Michelle is presumed innocent and she should be", said her attorney, Andrew Bowman, on Thursday. "The crime and clean-up are believed to have occurred between 8:05am and 10:25am", when Jennifer Dulos' vehicle was driven away from the home.

According to the public information office of the Connecticut State Police, the agency's Western District Major Crime Squad arrested Fotis Dulos at his home.

Jennifer Dulos has been described by those who know her as a generous, caring and intelligent woman who is devoted to her children.

The victim remains missing, and there has been no murder charge in the case, but police now say that Fotis Dulos was "lying in wait" at his wife's home after she dropped off her children at school on May 24, the day she disappeared.

Police asked Troconis why she thought Fotis Dulos had his employee's truck cleaned and she said, "Well obviously. all the evidence says because. you showed me the picture of the blood in the door it's because the body of Jennifer at some point was in there, " the documents said. She also admitted it did not smell like coffee.

Dulos attorney Norm Pattis said in a statement, "Our hearts go out to Ms. Troconis".

Dulos posted $500,000 bail on the new charge Wednesday, according to the warrant, and is scheduled to be back in court on this new charge on September 12. "We are confident that she will, in the end, tell the truth at trial", Pattis said in a statement. "The state is a terrifying enemy, but a clean conscience is a powerful ally".

Pattis said Dulos meant to plead not guilty to the new charges. They were released on bail.

Here in New Canaan, where residents have rallied around Jennifer Dulos and her family, investigators have received hundreds of tips and responses to a call for video surveillance from homes or businesses, the New Canaan police chief has said.
